ACT calls for feedback on bushfire plan
The ACT is seeking stakeholder and public input on its Strategic Bushfire Management Plan, which is reviewed every five years.
Community forums will be held this month, with the first scheduled for tomorrow.
The plan will be submitted for government consideration between August and September.
“The Strategic Bushfire Management Plan… sets out how bushfire risk is managed in the ACT,” the Territory Government says.
“We’re asking the ACT community to share their ideas, values and expectations, as well as to learn about the continued effort and actions to reduce the bushfire risk to the territory.”
