Meanwhile, the criminal trial of former FAI executives Daniel Wilkie, Timothy Mainprize and Stephen Burroughs has begun in the Supreme Court of NSW.

Messrs Mainprize and Wilkie each face two counts of failing to act honestly in the exercise of their powers and discharge of their duties as officers of FAI, and one count of providing false and misleading information.

Mr Burroughs will stand trial on one count of failing to act honestly in the exercise of his powers and discharge of his duties as an officer of FAI.

All three have pleaded not guilty.
