Victoria names Warren Tickle winner
OAMPS Insurance Brokers Account Executive Robert Richard is the Victoria/Tasmania regional finalist for NIBA’s nationwide Warren Tickle Memorial Award.
The Melbourne broker was named as the fifth and last national finalist at the NIBA Victorian Division Ball on Saturday night.
NIBA CEO Noel Pettersen says Mr Richard is a “great young ambassador for his peers who impressed the judging panel immensely”.
Other finalists are Marsh Australia’s Mathew Korff from NSW; Darwin-based broker Elias Anictomatis, also of Marsh; and Aon Risk Services Account Executive Lana Rose from Queensland.
WA finalist Murray Johnson, formerly of Aon Risk Services, has become ineligible for the national award as he is no longer a practising broker. It’s understood he was lured to insurer CGU shortly after winning the WA title.
The Vero-sponsored Warren Tickle Memorial Award recognises outstanding standards of professionalism and integrity among young brokers. A national winner will be named at the NIBA Convention in Sydney next month.
