Vero has been announced as the major sponsor of the redesigned National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) Young Professional of the Year Award.

The award celebrates the endeavour and achievement of young people by nominating winners in new state/territory category semi-finals. The winners will attend the NIBA Convention in October for the announcement of the national Warren Tickle Memorial Award.

The award is the industry’s highest recognition for brokers aged 35 and under.

Vero Broker Relationship Manager Christine Bell says NIBA and Vero recognise the need to develop and promote young professionals.

NIBA CEO Noel Pettersen says the new approach to the expanded award has been made possible because of Vero’s willingness to continue its sponsorship. “We’re making a big effort to get younger brokers along to the convention, and it wouldn’t be possible without Vero’s continuing commitment,” he said.
