CHU Strata Insurance, Strata Community Insurance and Strata Unit Underwriters retained their top spots in an annual ranking by StrataRatings, with their products receiving platinum honours in the residential and commercial space. 

StrataRatings says that after five new strata product offerings came to market in 2022, last year brought little in terms of new entrants as the 2022 arrivals spent the year finding their feet. 

“We’ve seen about 42% of policies receive an update, but the vast majority of these have been minor in nature, refining certain clauses for practical purposes,” the independent strata cover analyst said. 

In the residential space, gold awards went to Flex Insurance, Axis Underwriting, Chubb Insurance, Longitude Insurance and Millennium Insurance. 

Silver honours were given to Hutch Underwriting, isStrata, QUS Strata Insurance, WFI Insurance, GIO Insurance, CGU Insurance and Sure Insurance. 

In the commercial segment, Chubb Insurance and Longitude Insurance were graded gold, while Axis Underwriting, isStrata and QUS Strata Insurance achieved silver status.
