The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance was officially launched in Sydney last week. The merger of the New Zealand and Australian insurance institutes was hailed by inaugural ANZIIF President David Sandoe as a move that “secures its role as as the leading education and training provider to the insurance industry”.

The ANZIIF – to be marketed as “The Institute” – was officially launched via videotape by Financial Services & Regulation Minister Joe Hockey.
