Sydney actuary swims English Channel for the kids
Sydney Munich Re actuary Kaise Stephan has proved he has the brawn and the spirit to match the brains by swimming the English Channel for charity.
He took the plunge from Dover to Calais last week to raise money for the oncology unit at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, western Sydney.
Mr Stephan, who began training for the crossing in November 2006, hopes to raise $250,000 for ongoing research at the hospital.
