Software provider puts Kiwis on UK nightshift
UK insurance software house Transactor Global Solutions plans to open an office in Auckland so it can serve UK brokers 24 hours a day.
Customer service manager Danny Kingston says the move will allow jobs to be serviced overnight as “a day job in another time zone, so brokers receive the service they need without the additional costs of an out-of-hours call charge”.
NZ time is typically 12 hours ahead of the UK. Transactor’s other offices are in the UK towns of Winchester, Milton Keynes and Halifax.
