And now, even more insurance awards by publishers seeking to make an impact in the local market. The latest entrant is the Singapore-based Asia Insurance Review, which has announced an awards night in Sydney in July. The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) – winner of the magazine’s “Asia Education Provider of the Year” award for two years running – is closely associated with the awards. 

Categories are for the top general insurer, reinsurer, life company, broker, reinsurance broker, loss adjuster, risk manager, technological innovation, service provider, law firm, and “insurance personality” of the year, plus an award for the most outstanding community service.

ANZIIF CEO and award judge Joan Fitzpatrick says recognition of the industry’s commitment to professionalism and service excellence “is long overdue”.
