The Risk Management Institution of Australasia (RMIA) has partnered with the US-based Security Analysis & Risk Management Association to share information and resources.

RMIA President Grant Whitehorn says the US organisation approached RMIA and both organisations have now signed a memorandum of understanding.

“Another important area of co-operation will be creating educational and training materials to ensure the profession has a shared common base of knowledge to sustain itself well into the future,” Mr Whitehorn said.

The organisations are also likely to collaborate on research.
