Risky business manager wins award

SA Royal District Nursing Service Director Anne Maddock has been named Risk Manager of the Year by the Risk Management Institution of Australasia (RMIA).

The annual award was announced during the RMIA annual conference in Adelaide. Ms Maddock is the senior project officer for the development of safety and quality programs across the state for the SA Health Department. Her current 170 consultations look like increasing to 250, and one of her goals is to see better communications between health service providers reducing risk and achieving best possible outcomes for consumers.
