Major Victorian insurer RACV is taking court action against computer giant Unisys over the installation of its online claims handling system.

RACV is seeking about $9 million in damages for alleged negligence, breaches of contract and breaches of provisions in the Commonwealth Trade Practices Act against misleading and deceptive conduct.
