Peter Corrigan award entries open
Organisers of the Peter Corrigan International Exchange Awards are on the lookout for the insurance industry’s rising young stars.
Established in 2003, the awards recognise outstanding young insurance talent and also aim to foster strong industry ties within the Asia/Pacific region.
Two winners will share $10,000 to fund short study tours in the region. There are two categories – one for Asia and one for Australia and New Zealand.
The awards are granted in memory of Peter Corrigan, a highly respected industry executive who died suddenly in 2002 aged 46.
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and Deloitte Australia administer the awards, which are open to ANZIIF fellows or senior associates aged up to 35.
Winners will be recognised at an ANZIIF industry award function in Sydney on July 30. Entries close on June 5.
