QBE Insurance CEO Frank O’Halloran was named Insurance Personality of the Year at the Asia Insurance Review/ANZIIF Awards.

Promina subsidiary AAMI Insurance took the title of General Insurance Company of the Year. Other winners were MLC for Life Insurance Company of the Year, Phillips Fox Australia and NZ for Law Firm of the Year, and PricewaterhouseCoopers Australia for Service Provider of the Year.

Reinsurance Company of the Year went to Swiss Re Australia, and Loss Adjuster of the Year went to GAB Robins New Zealand and IAG won the Services to the Community category. Australia Post Risk Manager Chris Davies won Risk Manager of the Year, and Broker of the Year went to Marsh.
