IAG subsidiary NZI has taken out the Insurer of the Year accolade across the Tasman in the inaugural Insurance Brokers Association of New Zealand (IBANZ) awards.

IBANZ members voted NZI the best overall insurer across a range of categories, including product range, flexibility and clarity of documentation.

Other winners included:

• Broker of the Year: Paul Casey (Marsh);
• Best Support: DLA Phillips Fox;
• Innovation: Lumley NZ's Drive Cam;
• Young Professional Broker: Daniel Donaldson (Crombie Lockwood);
• Young Professional Insurer: Simon Lockwood (Lumley);
• Young Professional Loss Adjuster: Mark Taylor (GAB Robins).
