NRMA Insurance has been named business insurer of the year at the annual Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards in Melbourne last week.

Defence Service Homes Insurance was general insurer of the year, while InsuranceLine took the risk and life insurer award.

Winners in 37 business categories were selected based on feedback from more than 50,000 consumers and 22,000 company decision-makers last year.
