The implications of the FSRA requirements are beginning to sink in around the industry, with NIBA CEO Noel Pettersen and Professional Development Executive Linda Evans speaking to capacity audiences across Australia.

Last week the team spoke addressed members and non-members in Hobart, Launceston and Melbourne. Mr Pettersen said that while the roadshow has given NIBA members that chance to grasp the exact formalities of the FSRA, there has been a huge turnout of non-members.

NIBA membership co-ordinator Melina Gentile reported said that since the roadshow has begun she has received more than 60 requests for new membership applications. “and that is just from Victoria”.

Having spoken in Townsville yesterday, the roadshow is in Brisbane today. Other ports of call are Newcastle (April 23), Sydney (April 24), Darwin (April 30), Perth (May 1) and Adelaide (May 2).
