The National Insurance Brokers Association celebrated the closing months of its 25th anniversary celebrations last week with the launch of a book tracing its development since 1982.

Industry luminaries gathered in Sydney for the official launch of the book, which is titled The Right Direction.

NIBA CEO Noel Pettersen told the gathering the association’s founders would be proud to see how well their expectations have been realised.

“Over the past 25 years NIBA has achieved much in the face of continuous change in the insurance sector,” he said. “NIBA has weathered tough legislative demands, adapted to the expectations of our clients and transformed our members into very sophisticated, highly trained professionals.”

The 94-page book is being distributed to all NIBA members, local and overseas industry associations, politicians, regulators, libraries and insurer partners.
