National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) Education has been rebranded to become the NIBA College of Insurance & Risk Professionals.

Among a range of expanded offerings is a tertiary-level qualification for senior brokers and insurance intermediaries – the Graduate Diploma in Financial Services.

NIBA Professional Development Executive Linda Evans told Sunrise Exchange News the rebranding is part of a push to offer a wider range of services and meet the increasingly sophisticated demands of the industry.

Ten years ago NIBA became a Federal Government-registered training organisation accredited to provide the full range of national vocational qualifications covering certificates, diplomas and advanced diplomas in financial services.

The education service also recently streamlined its listings on ASIC’s register of approved training programs for representatives (Tier 1 and 2 advisers) and responsible officers.
