NIBA campaign gets people talking

The public and industry’s response to the National Insurance Brokers Association's (NIBA) national “Every Business Needs an Insurance Broker” advertising campaign has been overwhelmingly positive, according to the association.

NIBA CEO Noel Pettersen says the campaign – which combines a unique targeted mix of advertising mediums designed for maximum coverage and impact – has already got people talking.

“Feedback from members so far has been fantastic,” he said. “They’re taking up our challenge to get involved in the campaign using materials we sent to every brokerage.”

He says the new www.needabroker.com.au website has had a “surprising number of unique hits each day”.

“We’re monitoring what people are looking for when they access the website,” Mr Pettersen said. “Early indications are very positive that we’re succeeding in tapping into people’s uncertainty about insurance. We’re making them think about what’s involved.”
