The Risk Management Institution of Australasia (RMIA) has appointed risk manager Kevin Knight as President of the association. He has more than 25 years’ experience in risk management and was named Asian Risk Manager of the Year in 2001.

Mr Knight is Chairman of the International Organisation for Standardisation working group, which is developing the first global standard on risk management.

He is also a member of the Standards Australia Management and Business Standards Sector Board, the Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance Academic Council and several Standards Australia risk management working groups.
