Macquarie launches broking benchmarking survey
Macquarie Relationship Banking has launched its Insurance Broking Benchmarking Survey, which will identify industry trends and provide comparisons.
Brokers who complete the online survey will receive a copy of the findings, which Macquarie says they can use to benchmark their business performance and identify growth strategies.
It is the fourth time Macquarie has run the survey in Australia. The Head of Macquarie Relationship Banking’s insurance broking segment, Peter Conquest, says the survey provides valuable information for brokers looking to gain a competitive edge.
“Our benchmarking survey provides an in-depth look at a comprehensive variety of factors, from financial performance and the role and importance of staff, to market challenges and opportunities,” he said.
“It lets brokers benchmark their business against their peers, and provides valuable information that brokers can use to shape and drive their growth strategy,” he said.
The survey will be available on Macquarie’s website from tomorrow until August 9. It takes less than 15 minutes to complete.
Mr Conquest says the success of the Australian research led Macquarie to conduct the survey in the UK this year.
“It will be particularly interesting this year to not only be able to look at the Australian industry, but also to see how Australian insurance brokers compare with their counterparts in the UK.”
