Loss adjusters to meet in Melbourne
The insurance industry’s response to disasters will provide a timely theme for delegates to the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA) annual conference in Melbourne next week. The two-day conference (sessions begin on Thursday April 29) will feature a range of local and international experts, with United Nations Compensation Commissioner Alan Cleary – who is still cleaning up after the first Gulf War in Kuwait – as the keynote speaker.
The aftermath of recent disasters in New Zealand and Australia will be discussed in detail, and a panel of local and international adjusters will examine the changing role of loss adjusters. Late bookings are still being taken by AICLA. Call 07 3229 6663.
