Vero Insurance New Zealand was named General Insurance Company of the Year at the annual Australia and New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards in Sydney last night. Aon Australia was named Broker of the Year.

Services to the community – Suncorp
Insurance personality of the year – IAG CEO Michael Hawker.

The winners of the Peter Corrigan International Exchange Awards were Andre Levey, a senior risk finance analyst at SA energy company Santos; and Farhanu, Assistant Vice President at the marine division of PT Marsh Indonesia.
