The three panel members of the Insurance Ombudsman Service (IOS) have been reappointed on three-year terms as the service announces the creation of a second panel.

Panel Chairman Peter Hardham, Adjudicator Ron Beazley and Referee and Alternate Adjudicator John Price have been reappointed. Victorian WorkCover Authority Senior Legal Counsel Christine McCarthy has been Alternate Adjudicator since April 1.

Mr Hardham, who has been Chairman since 1997, will assume the additional duties of Alternate Referee and Alternate Adjudicator. He will also be Chairman of a forthcoming second panel.

John Price has also been appointed Alternate Panel Chairman, and industry veterans Denis Trafford, Stephen Duffield and Terry Wakefield have been appointed panel representatives.
