Insurance lawyers appoint new president
West Australian lawyer David McKenna has been elected national President of the Australian Insurance Law Association.
Mr McKenna, a partner with Jarman McKenna, was Vice President. He has been an adviser to the Insurance Council of Australia, governments and corporate bodies on insurance law issues.
Immediate past president Chris Rodd, the technical counsel at CGU in Victoria, will remain on the board.
The new Vice President is Sydney lawyer David Lee, while Kim Bradey continues as Secretary and John Fountain as Treasurer.
Other board members are Michael Gill and Nick Codd (NSW), Roger Sands (WA), John Homburg (SA), Rebecca Stevens (Queensland), Steve Knight and Robert Webster (Tasmania) and Eric Hutton (NT).
