Imeson leaves IBNA
Former IBNA CEO Peter Imeson has left the broker cluster group to “pursue other interests” outside insurance.
An IBNA spokesman yesterday denied a report that Mr Imeson – who oversaw substantial growth of the cluster during his time as CEO – resigned from the group. “He departed IBNA to pursue other interests,” she said. “He did not resign.”
Mr Imeson stepped down from the position earlier this year and Paul Sedgwick took over as CEO at the group’s annual convention in February.
He then took on the position of GM of the group, with responsibility for technical, administrative, and internal resources.
Mr Imeson has been involved in broking for more than 30 years, but it’s understood he is not intending to stay in the industry.
