ICA is seeking innovative ideas that individuals, businesses or communities have developed to withstand extreme weather events.

It is offering a $50,000 “Resilience Award” for any idea, concept, product or research that will help Australians survive or recover from natural disasters.

CEO Kerrie Kelly says the award is a step towards actions that need to taken by governments, communities and the insurance industry.
