Insurance Brokers Association of New Zealand (IBANZ) CEO Denis Orme has quit the organisation after a year in the job.

Chairman Robert Martin says Mr Orme was “the initial CEO to jump-start IBANZ”.

The interim committee which appointed Mr Orme will be replaced by a permanent board at the annual general meeting to be held before the annual IBANZ conference in Christchurch next week.

Mr Martin says Mr Orme “used his strategic skills, business passion and leadership to assist with the establishment of our new organisation”.
