IBANZ award finalists announced

Finalists have been selected from a record number of nominations for the Insurance Brokers Association of New Zealand (IBANZ) general insurance industry awards.

IBANZ CEO Gary Young told insuranceNEWS.com.au the panel of judges has made the process much more transparent and the quality of the nominations this year has been very high.

The finalists are:

Broker of the Year: John Blackmore, Blackmore Insurance Services; Stephen Kane, Marsh; Mike Sargent, Willis NZ.
Young Professional Broker: Schery Kasad, Tasman Insurance Consultants; Annabel Thomas, FMR Risk Solutions; Jacqui Young, C&G Rothbury Insurance Brokers.
Young Professional Insurer: John Chandler, IAG NZ; Kieran McCormack, Lumley NZ.
Young Professional Loss Adjuster: Mark Kenyon, McLarens Young International; Richard Murphy, McLarens Young International; Daniel Norrie, GAB Robins NZ.
Insurance Investigator of the Year: Paul Feary, Paragon NZ; Paul Hurrell, IAG NZ; Ron McQuilter, Paragon NZ.
Best Innovation of the Year: Crash Brokers; iNavigator.
Best Support Services to the Industry: Centrepoint Alliance; Enterprise Recruitment; PolicyComparison.com.

Finalists for the Insurer of the Year category will be selected from the results of the annual IBANZ survey – which is currently under way.
