The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has made Paul Goddard an Honorary Fellow in recognition of his contribution to the broking community over two decades.

Marking only the eighth time such an honour has been conferred, the announcement was made at the NIBA Convention yesterday in Sydney.

Association President Steve Lardner described Mr Goddard, a director at Macey Insurance Brokers on the NSW South Coast, as a “true believer” in the broking cause.

“He’s a successful practising broker, and long-serving divisional committee and board member,” Mr Lardner said. “Last year he completed a two-year term as president of the association.”

He described Mr Goddard as a man passionately keen to see young achievers come through and shine at the next level, and saluted him for attending literally hundreds of meetings, despite the long drive between the South Coast and Sydney.
