Hollard Insurance CEO Richard Enthoven is the new Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) President and board Chairman.

He has been acting president since last month, when Anthony Day stepped down following his departure from Suncorp.

“ICA has a proud tradition of ethically and expertly promoting its members’ roles in providing insurance protection and security to the community,” Mr Enthoven said.

“I’m passionate in seeing this role continue in consultation with key stakeholders.”

ICA made the appointment at a board meeting last week. It also announced the appointment of Suncorp Insurance CEO Gary Dransfield as Deputy President.
