The HIH saga continues this year with several of the major figures in the case popping up again. Rodney Adler and Brad Cooper will face court again and Ray Williams will be sentenced.

Mr Adler will appear at the NSW Supreme Court for trial on February 7 on three charges of manipulating the stock market and two of making false or misleading statements in relation to securities.

Mr Williams, the former CEO of HIH, pleaded guilty on December 15 to three charges arising from his management of HIH between 1998 and 2000. He will return to the NSW Supreme Court on March 18 for a sentence hearing.

Mr Cooper is months away from a criminal trial over six charges of corruptly giving a cash benefit to influence an agent of HIH and seven charges of publishing a false or misleading statement with intent to obtain a financial advantage.
