Kimberley Arbon of Alan Wilson Insurance Brokers in the Victorian town of Traralgon has won the Regional Insurance Brokers Association’s (RIBA) Norm Dyer Award of Excellence.

The award – which was created in honour of Norm Dyer, the first Chairman of RIBA to recognise excellence in insurance broking – was presented at the group’s recent conference at Phillip Island. The winner of the award is selected through a stringent interview panel process.                        

Ms Arbon, 24, first worked with QBE Mercantile Mutual (now QBE Commercial) before beginning her insurance broking career with Alan Wilson in 2001, rising to become Commercial Account Manager.

A committee member of RIBA’s Under 35s group, Ms Arbon has a certificate III in Financial Services and is studying to complete her Diploma in Financial Services (Insurance Broking).
