Gallagher Bassett (GB) has appointed Christchurch-based Kelly Spratt to the role of National Supply Chain Manager. 

Ms Spratt will support insurers to maintain and enhance their operations via GB’s rapidly growing supply chain network. 

Supply chain issues are nominated as one of the biggest challenges facing insurers on a global level, GB says. 

“For insurers to deliver products and services effectively, supply chain management is critical to the continuation of quality standards and organisational obligations,” it said.  

“With the ongoing shift in customer expectations, insurers are refining their processes to address calls for more transparency in insurance coverage levels, claims processes, limitations, and pricing from policyholders.” 

Ms Spratt’s appointment is expected to be central in supporting GB’s clients navigate evolving supply chain pressures and changing customer expectations.
