FOS appoints new consumer director
The Financial Ombudsman Service has appointed Elissa Freeman as a director representing consumer interests.
She will join the board for a three-year term from June 1, replacing Jenni Mack, who has retired after 15 years.
Ms Freeman is currently Director, Strategic Projects for the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network.
She has previously served as a consumer advocate at Choice and has worked on external dispute resolution schemes in a number of sectors.
