Finalists for the annual Australian and New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards have been announced, and there are few surprises.

Organised by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and Singapore-based Asia Insurance Review, the awards will be announced at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on August 7.

The finalists include:

Innovation: Swiss Re; Stream Innovation; NZI.
Service Provider: Finity Consulting; Proclaim; Ernst & Young.
Premium funder: Macquarie PF; Pacific PF; Premium Funding.
