Brokers and authorised representatives still have an opportunity to win a two-day trip to join the Catlin Seaview Survey on the Great Barrier Reef next month.

Catlin and Insurance News are working together to give two brokers a trip to visit a Catlin Seaview Survey dive site on the Great Barrier Reef to meet the shallow reef team and learn more about the science behind the survey project.

The prize also includes snorkelling and a helicopter ride over the reef, return economy airfares to Cairns, two nights’ accommodation in Cairns and transfers to and from the hotel. The visit will also feature in the February issue of Insurance News (the magazine).

The survey is studying the impact of increasing sea temperatures and ocean acidification on the reef, with the initial phase running until the end of the year.

The Catlin/Insurance News competition has already attracted many entrants, but it remains open to all brokers until noon (AEST) on October 31.
