HIH Insurance liquidator Tony McGrath has been given another extension in his investigation of the company’s $5.3 billion collapse.

Mr McGrath has an extra four weeks to prepare his case in the NSW Supreme Court against HIH founder Ray Williams. He is seeking to recover nearly $1 million of the $3 million settlement Mr Williams was awarded before the insurer collapsed.
