Local claims professionals can apply to win a scholarship sponsored by specialist insurance law firm TurksLegal and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).

The 2009 ANZIIF TurksLegal Claims Scholarship aims to provide those working in claims with career development opportunities and the chance to network overseas.

The winner will receive an overseas trip worth $8000 including return travel, accommodation, spending money and registration to the 2010 Claims Conference and Insurance Services Expo to be held in San Antonio, Texas from March 21-24 next year.

Entries close October 30 and the winner will be announced in December.
