Melbourne-based EIG-Ansvar is the latest insurer to offer its products on Sunrise Exchange.

Telstra eBusiness Services GM Insurance Lisa Woodley says the insurer went through a successful pilot phase during February.

She says the company will roll out its home product to intermediaries through Sunrise Exchange and will also use the network’s online quotation system.

While EIG-Ansvar deals with insurance for churches and community groups including care homes, retirement villages and not-for-profit organisations, it will only be launching its home product on Sunrise Exchange at this stage.

Operations Manager Australasia Peter Atkinson says he is pleased to be up and running on the exchange. “By the end of April we expect to have rolled out the home product to Victoria and Queensland and then by the end of May to WA and SA.”
