Disaster Legal Help Victoria is holding an online session on Wednesday to provide information for people with insurance issues arising from last year’s flooding.

The Australian Financial Complaints Authority says Senior Manager in Insurance Dion Newburn will be attending, along with consumer lawyer and advocate Denis Nelthorpe.

Disaster Legal Help Victoria co-ordinates legal assistance for people impacted by disaster and provides community legal education to build resilience.

It’s a partnership between the Federation of Community Legal Centres, Justice Connect, the Law Institute of Victoria, Victorian Legal Aid, Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service and the Victorian Bar Association.
