The Insurance Brokers Association of New Zealand (IBANZ) has agreed to industry requests for more time to prepare nominations for the General Insurance Industry Awards.

The nominations deadline has now been extended to 10am on September 15.

The awards recognise outstanding brokers and insurers, young professionals in broking, insurance and loss adjusting, and best innovation and best support service. There is also a new category for insurance investigator of the year.

The awards dinner will be held at the Auckland Town Hall on October 30.
