Deadline extended for Mansfield Awards feedback
More time has been provided for brokers to give feedback on insurance claims teams, which will help decide which organisations are recognised in this year’s Mansfield Awards for Claims Excellence.
The industry’s premier claims awards scheme will take place again this year, with presentations made on July 23 via webinar as a result of COVID-19 social distancing measures.
The awards, named after the English Lord Chief Justice who introduced the concept of utmost good faith to the insurance process in 1766, are organised by Insurance News and LMI Group.
Feedback can be given by clicking here before June 7.
As insuranceNEWS.com.au reported last week, NSW state insurer icare has announced its continuing support.
icare and Steadfast, which has already confirmed its sponsorship, have backed the awards every year since they were launched in 2017.
“Like Steadfast, icare says building greater awareness within the industry of the need for claims excellence is essential to building the trust and support of clients and consumers,” Insurance News Publisher Terry McMullan said.
Award winners are calculated using official reports and surveys conducted by LMI, with the results weighted so all insurers are viewed equally. Companies and individuals are not invited to make submissions for an award.
