In last week’s edition of insuranceNEWS.com.au we reported that New Zealand insurers have provided $NZ325,000 ($271,000) to support the work of the Canterbury Insurance Advocacy Service.

This was incorrect. New Zealand insurers have provided the funds to support the Residential Advisory Service in Christchurch.

The advisory service is free to earthquake-affected residents who need help with issues around the repair and rebuild process.
