Steadfast's 10th annual convention kicks off in Adelaide on Saturday, with more than 1300 delegates booked in to attend. Local and international guest speakers will feature in a program covering business, insurance and general interest topics.

The four-day conference follows hot on the heels of the inaugural AIMS National Convention in Macau last week, which attracted 400 industry professionals and their partners. AIMS brings together the Insurance Brokers Network Australia (IBNA) and Austbrokers.

CGU CEO Duncan West has been confirmed as guest speaker at next month's Australasian Association of Insurance Brokers' (AAIB) conference in Ballarat, Victoria. About 200 will attend. AAIB was formerly known as the Regional Insurance Brokers Association.
