Climate change workshops are a must
The Australian Greenhouse Office (AGO) is conducting free guidance workshops around Australia during the next month in a bid to educate and prepare businesses for the effects of climate change.
The Climate Change and Risk Management workshops are aimed at company directors, senior managers and specialist risk managers. They are presented by AGO representatives and leading Australian climate scientists.
Based on a new AGO publication, “Climate Change Impacts and Risk Management: a Guide for Business and Government”, the workshops will cover how climate change will affect Australia, the purpose of the guide and a step-by-step run through of it.
Workshops will run from May 30 in Canberra until June 14, when they conclude in Brisbane.
