Claims and renewals top key performance indicators
The three top key performance indicators (KPI) for the insurance industry are claims processing time, policy renewal rates and insurance underwriting time, according to a management consultant Eab Group.
The Melbourne-based consultancy operates the online platform smartKPIs.com and analysed the KPIs used by its registered online users and its own research to find the 25 most popular KPIs used in insurance.
Other popular KPIs, out of 50 specific to the insurance industry, are the insurance loss ratio and measurements of insurance claims processed.
