Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) Australia MD Brian Carpenter has been appointed to the international group’s executive committee, which manages the group’s day-to-day operations.

Mr Carpenter, whose appointment is effective from next week, manages JLT’s operations in Australia and NZ. He has been MD of the Australian arm since 1999.

Executive Chairman Ken Carter says Mr Carpenter will bring “much valuable experience” to the committee. “Brian has led the very successful development of the Australasian businesses, which are JLT’s largest operations outside the UK.”
