Broking achievers named at convention
Elias Anictomatis from the Northern Territory has won this year’s Warren Tickle Memorial Award for the insurance broking industry’s outstanding young professional.
Mr Anictomatis, a Darwin-based senior account executive with Marsh, was presented with his award at the National Insurance Brokers Association Convention in Sydney yesterday.
He began working with an insurance company before his move into broking in 1997. During a stint with Marsh in London, Mr Anictomatis worked on insurance placements for some of the world’s largest construction projects.
Other finalists were Matthew Korff, representing NSW/ACT, Robert Richards (Tasmania/Victoria) and Lana Rose (Queensland).
Emilie Webster, of Grampians Insurance Brokers in Ararat, Victoria, was awarded the Lex McKeown Trophy for outstanding achievement in the insurance broking industry.
